I’m John Gibbons. I am currently attending graduate school at the University of Kansas. I don’t like to type for long periods of time. I like video games and pussy.

Stand Up History

For years I would do a lot of talking about pipe dreams. For example, I’ve wanted to make web comics and video games for as long as I can remember. But I never did anything about. Until a month ago. A month ago I decided to stop talking about doing things and start actually doing them. I didn’t start making a video game or doing web comics, simply because I knew those would be projects that would take a lot of time, and I needed to do something with immediate returns. So, I found an open mic night at the bottle neck and did stand-up. Since then, I’ve been writing material and booking myself at any open mic night I can find.

Current Goal

Performance art is a difficult thing to set goals for. It’s very easy to aim to high, and then come up short. Right now, my one and only goal as a comedian is to perform at PAX in 2009. Until then, I’m going to maintain this site in order to get my material out there.

Let’s go internet; It’s time for a change.
