Atari’s First Commercial
This is Atari’s first and highly inaudible commercial for Pong.
Why did they pick a cowboy? Why does this cowboy have a buff man servant? Unless I missed something, Atari’s first target demographic were 70 year old wives of cowboys that needed something to do other than listen to their cowboy husband (who probably knew very little about electricity let alone electric games) get ass-slammed by Chefan, the hot-and-horny man servant.
I wonder what products target that “wife of gay cowboy” demographic now?

So, it’s look like Retro Gaming Month is going to become Retro Gaming Quarter. Heh, well I hope not, but life/school are showing no mercy right now. I’m fighting a staph infection and several burns (a simple breakfast nearly turned into a comic massacre). I had a project due last night which I wasn’t able to finish in time, so I’ll be working on that this weekend, then I’ll be catching up on my thesis work.
I wish I could say you guys come first, but if I flunk outta school, then I’ll quickly become homeless. And last I heard, homeless people don’t have sweet ass internet connections.
Or showers.
