Twin Galaxies: First Official Mega Man 9 World Record

Take a look at the right column!

This is the first and only Mega Man 9 score officially recognized by Twin Galaxies. Twin Galaxies, has been around almost as long as video games. They are the only people officially recognized by “The Guinness Book of World Records” for video game world records. If you haven’t seen the movie the movie that recently made Twin Galaxies famous, then grab yourself a copy of “The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters.” (Click here for a preview of this great film)

I’ll be releasing the video of the World Record run this Wednesday.

Also, the site got it’s 10,000th video view yesterday! Thank you all so much for watching, and as a gift for you all I’ll be making which ever video gets the most votes. Here’s the list again:

Here’s what you get to pick from:
1. I Perform a cover of “Still Alive” (The Portal Song) with my accordion, bass, and myself doing vocals
2. I record myself doing the “Gallon Challenge” but instead of drinking milk I drink a gallon of box wine (I’m a professional kids, don’t try this at home)
3. Take the “No-Hit Super Mario Brothers Challenge” where I have to run through SMB on the NES (warps are legal) without getting hit (this used to be a great time killer back in my undergrad days)
4. I remake my “Video Game Violence” bit, but do the entire things with the voice of the Monarch from Venture Bros.

So far the Monarch Remake is WAAAY in the lead. Make your vote count too! Email me (johngibbonscomedy@gmail.com) or leave a comment here.
